Myth: wearing glasses makes your eyesight worse. 👁️

This is a really common misconception! ❌

Most changes to your eyesight are actually a result of ageing. So if you think your eyes have gotten worse as a result of your glasses, it's likely just because you've gotten older! 😅

Do blue light glasses work? 🤔

The idea behind these glasses is that by filtering out blue light from screens, you'll have less eyestrain and better sleep. 😴

However, this light is useful for the body's circadian rhythm and sleep regulation. 🌙 That's why we think taking adequate breaks from screens and limiting use before bedtime is a better way to combat blue light than tinted glasses! 👁️

Have you heard of Ortho-K contact lenses? 🌙🤔

Sometimes known as nocturnal or night lenses, they're worn while sleeping! 😴

When you wake up and remove the lenses, your vision is corrected for the rest of the day! 🤯

These are a great option for people who find it difficult to wear contacts or whose contacts are at risk of getting dirty during the day. 👍
