Remember it's the public meeting this evening at the Castle Hotel Brecon.. 7pm.
Regarding the PTHB.
Changes to health care provision including proposed reduction of services to MIU at Brecon and Llandrindod.
If there are any issues or changes we will inform you as soon as possible. Please try to attend if able. if allowed I will also try and live stream the event to the Brecon Community Page.
But that depends on bandwidth and connectivity.
Just a heads up during the event no posts will be authorised as the admin team are all attending.

Weather disruptions to health services in Powys on Friday 18 February

Due to the inclement weather, our Mass Vaccination Centres and our mobile COVID testing centres will be closed on Friday 18 February (our fixed units in Brecon and Newtown currently hope to remain open).

The Minor Injury Unity in Ystradgynlais will also be closed on Friday.
All other services are currently due to be open and appointments will be going ahead as scheduled.

Please can you ensure that you allow plenty of time to travel and check the latest weather and local updates before leaving home.

If you feel that is unsafe for you to travel to your appointment, please do not put yourself at risk and contact us using the phone number on your appointment letter to let us know you are unable to attend. You will be contacted directly by the Health Board to rearrange the appointment if it should become necessary to do so because of the weather.

☑️You can attend our drop in clinics for your SECOND dose if you are aged 18+ and your Pfizer first dose was over ten weeks ago (AZ second doses are by appointment).
❌If you are 12 - 17 DO NOT attend if you have tested positive for COVID in the last 84 days. If you are 18+ DO NOT attend if you have tested positive for COVID in the last 28 days.
