Do you want to help update the Scottish Code of Practice for the Welfare of Equidae and play a part in safeguarding the wellbeing of Scotlandβs horses?
The Scottish equine sector and the Scottish Government are reviewing the current Codes and creating new, up-to-date guidance to better support owners, keepers and equine professionals.
Your feedback will help make sure the updated guidance is practical, evidence-based and truly reflects the needs of Scotlandβs horses and the people who care for them.
The existing Codes were created several years ago. This review is a key chance to ensure they remain clear, relevant and effective for everyone involved in caring for horses, ponies, donkeys and hybrids in Scotland.
Hear from Diploma graduate Lydia at Equi-Innse Gall CIC who represented our Community of Practice at a recent Lantra Scotland careers event! Lydia - huge thanks from us all for all of the time and energy you dedicate to supporting others! π
