Andy, one of our physios has been involved with a group of runners and cyclists who over the last 15 years have taken part in many endurance challenges for charity. However, they are not getting any younger! They have decided this year will be the last one. They are going to run/cycle 34 miles around the Cairngorm National Park for the Glasgow Childrenโ€™s Hospital. They would be extremely grateful for any donation no matter what size. Many thanks!

Today was Cara's last day and we are going to miss her cheery face at reception. However we are so delighted with all that is about to happen and all she has achieved. She is excelling with her curling and has recently been selected to represent Great Britain at the World University Games in Turin in January.
She had a nice warm up winning team silver this weekend at the Scottish Junior Curling Championships with her team, Team Laurie ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿฅˆ๐ŸฅŒ. She is on ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜.
Good luck Cara xx

!!!PHYSIOFOCUS HAS NEW TECHNOLOGY!!!
incorporating VALD Force Decks and dynamometer into Physiofocus enhances diagnosis and treatment accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness as well as the personalisation of patient care and ultimately leading to better patient outcomes. At Physiofocus we will be implementing this new technology into assessments, where the physiotherapist deem their use appropriate. We are also setting up skiing/snowboarding screening and return to sport screening protocols to help you confidently return to your sport.

Here are the 15 reasons why Physiofocus has implemented VALD into the clinic.
1. Objective Data Collection
2. Assessment of Asymmetries or weaknesses
3. Evaluation of Muscle Function
4. Baseline and Progress Tracking
5. Detailed Gait Analysis
6. Rehabilitation Progress Tracking
7. Enhanced Diagnostics
8. Biofeedback for Patients
9. Tailored Treatment Plans
10. Improvement of Functional Outcomes
11. Motivation and Engagement
12. Return-to-Play Decisions
13. Research and Development
14. Comprehensive Reports

Do you suffer from dizziness? Kirsty our vestibular physio is here to help. Below is a testimonial from a patient who came to see Kirsty.

โ€œThe dizzyness has completely disappeared and I am fully back to normal.

Many thanks for your treatment, it wasnโ€™t pleasant so I took a lot of care not to bend for quite a while after seeing you as I really did not want to go through that again! But it was hugely worth it, and I am very grateful to you. Thank you for being so kind and gentle, it helped a lot.

I do wish I had known you could fix it ages agoโ€

If you are suffering from dizziness or vestibular issues do contact the clinic to see if we can help. Patients suffering from BPPV can see a dramatic improvement with their symptoms. Most issues will respond to physio input in some form. Accurate diagnosis is the key.
