Carol-Ann, owner and manager of The Secret Garden Rooms in Fife, is hosting a fabulous event 31st January highlighting a condition called Lipoedema.
I myself will be there giving a talk about the importance of compression.
It will be a relaxed informative event with nibbles, you’ll be able to mingle with other ladies with the same condition.☺️

💙 Why am I hosting a lipoedema event? 💙
Time and time again, we hear the same stories from women living with lipoedema — being dismissed, shamed, and even gaslit while trying to get answers. Too often, the condition is misunderstood, misdiagnosed, or written off as obesity or being overweight.
Even after receiving a diagnosis, so many are left to figure things out alone — scouring the internet, piecing together information, and trying to manage a condition with very little guidance or support. The result? Isolation, frustration, and a feeling of being completely unheard.
This is why I wanted to host this event.
To bring people together.
To create a community, a village, where we can lift each other up, share knowledge, and feel less alone.To become better informed about the support that does exist and to remind each other we’re not alone.
