William Raymund Beaton

It is with much regret that I have to announce the death of my loving father.

William ( Bill ), passed away peacefully after a long and protracted illness in Campbell Snowdon House Quarriers Village, surrounded by his loving son Alan, daughter in law Suzi and his beloved dogs Izzy, Bramble and Dileas.

A native of Stirlingshire, dad joined Paisley Burgh Police in the 1960‘s, then Renfrew and Bute Constabulary and retired from Strathclyde Police in 1992.

Sincerest thanks to Revered Kenneth Gray , Freeland Church, Bridge of Weir for his spiritual comfort over the last months.
Monsignor Andrew McFadden at St.Fillans Church , Houston for keeping us all in his prayers throughout this difficult time.
Jim and all the staff at Campbell Snowdon House , they could not have done any more for dad.
And his close friends who have been a never ending support.

Dad had the dignity and humility of a simple, kind man and those who knew him will remember him for the rest of their lives.
