Wow. What a journey.

In 2012 I lost my mum. After eighteen months of grief, I made the scariest decision of my life. I used my inheritance to train in aesthetics.

I started out offering injectables at a dental clinic in Sheffield.

Then I went full time, opened my own clinic at Dyson Place. Built a client base I'm still so proud of. Started teaching, then built a training academy.

Then was asked to train for aesthetic brands.

In 2023 me and Kenny packed up our life in Sheffield after 21 years and moved back home to Scotland.

Bridge of Weir is our forever home.
And honestly?

My business is bigger than ever.

Arubia Aesthetics is here. Homelea is growing, one place for your skin, your body, your whole self.

I'm so excited to see what comes next.

It's simpler than you think. But it does matter.

Following your aftercare is what helps you get the best results.

🌱 Skip the makeup.

🌱 Stay out of the heat, such as hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, sunbeds.

🌱 Avoid intense exercise.

🌱 Stay hydrated.

🌱 And don't pick or squeeze.

Your skin looks nice the next day. But the real glow happens around day three. So patience is key.

I always say...

book the consultation, go home, read the information, and just sit with it for a bit and it feels right, come back and we’ll get started. If it doesn’t, that’s completely okay too.

​I’ve always believed that this is how it should work. Taking that first step can feel a bit daunting, especially if you’ve had a bad experience before or you're worried about looking "done." I hear that a lot.

People want to feel more like themselves again, maybe just a bit more rested or with a bit more brightness without feeling pressured or sold to.

​I love this video because it’s exactly what I strive for in the clinic. Seeing that change from someone feeling a bit unsure to them looking in the mirror and feeling happy with what they see... that’s why I do this.

It’s about more than just the treatments; it’s about that trust and making sure you feel comfortable in your own skin.

I think lash lifts are one of those things people sort of overlook until they actually see the results in the mirror.

​There’s no extensions and no real maintenance to worry about. It’s just your own lashes, lifted and defined, so you wake up and they’re already "done."

​I’ve been doing these in the clinic for a while now, and I still love that moment when a client sees the difference for the first time. It’s such a straightforward way to look a bit more awake without having to spend ages on your makeup.
