Specific descriptive praise is always helpful too - let them know why we are praising them beyond their communication...Boosting confidence, self esteem and overall wellbeing 🩷

I know plenty of parents say really beautiful things about their kids. We need to make sure we're saying it to them as well.

Don't assume that they know it.
