🌏World Reflexology Week Day 3 🌍
💚 Clinical Reflexology for Stress & Anxiety
High stress levels keep the body in a constant state of “fight or flight,” which can lead to poor sleep, hormonal imbalance, digestive issues and a lowered immune system.
Clinical Reflexology encourages the nervous system to shift into a calmer “rest and digest” state, helping to:
💆♀️ Reduce stress, anxiety and mental tension
😴 Improve sleep quality
💖 Lower heart rate and blood pressure
🌿 Support hormonal and digestive balance
⚡ Boost overall energy and resilience
If stress or anxiety is affecting your daily life ...disrupting your sleep, your mood, unable to switch your brain off and relax... Clinical Reflexology is a powerful therapy to help bring calm and balance to mind and body 👣
🧡'You are enough' is more than just a comforting phrase... it’s a powerful reminder of self worth.
Your value isn’t measured by how busy you are, how perfect you look, or how much you do for others.......
You certainly don’t need to do more, be more, or prove more to anyone to deserve rest and selfcare.
🧡Yet constant pressure...career demands, family responsibilities, and the expectation of 'doing it all' keeps many of us in a state of stress and overwhelm.
Clinical Reflexology offers a reset. It can help :
💕Calm the nervous system and reduce STRESS
💕 Support deeper restorative SLEEP
💕 Encourage hormonal and emotional balance
Give yourself space to pause, unplug and remind yourself of just how important you are 💞
💙Modern life often keeps the body locked in a state of "fight or flight" where stress hormones remain elevated, muscles stay tense and restful sleep becomes elusive.
Over time, this can affect mood, digestion and overall wellbeing.
💙Clinical Reflexology provides a focused, evidence informed approach to help the nervous system move from its 'sympathetic' (fight or flight) to 'parasympathetic' (rest and digest) function.
💙 Supporting:
✅️ Noticeable stress reduction
✅️ Improved sleep quality
✅ Hormonal and nervous system balance
✅ Natural release of muscular tension
✅ Deep relaxation

Hi everyone, a very warm welcome to the Reflexology Studio.
My name is Chrissy Bonner MAR, MARR. I'm a Professional Reflexologist & Massage Therapist and I run my own practice in the beautiful village of Ogmore-By-Sea. I have been a passionate advocate of Reflexology for many years and it still amazes me how effective this ancient therapy is. I first discovered reflexology 20 years ago when I came across it during my pregnancy whilst looking for alternative relief from severe pelvic girdle pain. I was fascinated by this wonderful therapy and its results and it became my long term goal to find out more!
After a career working in the corporate world of finance, I eventually achieved my long held ambition to return to studying and train as a Complementary Therapist so I completely understand the stress of juggling work, family life (Mum to 2 boys) and maintaining that healthy balance. I have a particular passion for Women’s Health particularly Fertility, Maternity, Menstrual & hormonal issues and am proud to have completed post grad advanced training in these fields. I strive to achieve the best results for my clients, tailoring my treatments so that they bring maximum benefits to your life, whether you have a specific health problem, illness or just wish to enjoy the best possible levels of relaxation and well-being. The aim of my practice is to provide an opportunity for you to 'switch-off', de-stress and improve your sense of well-being. In this state sleep improves, our body's systems work more efficiently and we find we are able to cope much better. I always treat the “whole body” and as such will look at your lifestyle, diet and stress levels before providing a bespoke treatment. Areas that reflexology can help with include:
Stress, Anxiety and Depression, Sleep disorders, Digestive problems such as IBS or constipation, Fertility Issues/assisted conception, Maternity issues, PMS, Endometriosis, painful or heavy periods, PCOS, Fibroids, Menopausal symptoms, Headaches and migraine, teeth & jaw pain.
I am lucky to have been trained by some of the World’s most renowned Reflexologists including:
· Reproductive Reflexology Parts I & II - Trained by Barbara Scott, Author of “Reflexology for Fertility”, Chairman of the Association of Reproductive Reflexologists and one of Europe’s leading Fertility Practitioners.
· Maternity & Post Natal Reflexology - Trained by Sally Earlam (Head of Training & Education at the Association of Reflexologists and their Maternity Specialist.
· Facial Reflexology “The Bergman Method” - Trained personally by Ziggie Bergman at the London School of Reflexology.
· Post Grad Reflexology for Stress & Anxiety - Trained by Hagar Basis (Director London Reflexology Academy)
Membership of Professional Organisations: I am fully insured and a full member of the following organisations:
Association of Reflexologists (AOR)
Association of Reproductive Reflexologists (ARR)
Registed Complementary Therapist with the Federation of Ante Natal Educators (FEDANT)
Complementary Therapists Association (ChTHA)
Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT)
I am also a Professional Massage Therapist with post grad qualifications in Pregnancy Massage.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve a healthy balance between mind, body and soul. Take care,
