Love this image!!. We tend to just think about intelligence coming from our brain. Did you know we have 3 intelligence centres (if not more)
1. Brain is our creativity
2. Heart is our compassion
3. Gut is our courage
Having all 3 in coherence is our internal superpower. When we have negative emotions that hold us back, we think them, feel them and react in ways which are detrimental to our mental health and well being. After spending 9 weeks teaching Mindfulness to a group of inmates. It has been amazing to witness profound change and the benefits Mindfulness has had on their Mental Health.

1. Stress Reduction: Mindfulness practices can help inmates manage stress, anxiety, and anger, which are common in a prison environment.

2. Improved Mental Health: Inmates may experience improved mental well-being, reduced symptoms of depression, and better emotional regulation through mindfulness.

3. Enhanced Self-Awareness: Mindfulness can help individuals understand their thoughts and emotions, leading to better self-awareness and personal growth.

4. Reduced Recidivism: Some studies suggest that mindfulness programs can reduce the likelihood of reoffending by promoting positive behavioral change.
