A huge thank you to Bravo1 for guiding our team through the MIAS Emergency Services Cycle Patrol course this weekend!

We’re thrilled to have five new CRU riders onboard, plus one requalified member. This brings us to a total of seven fully qualified CRU personnel, all ready to put their skills into action.

The team had a fantastic experience, and everyone is eager to put their newly honed skills to good use!

As our busy July continued, our team was once again at the Big Splash in Newport, providing medical cover for their two-day event. This fantastic occasion transformed the city center into a magnificent stage celebrating theatre and the arts. Our Paramedic-led team had a fantastic time supporting this amazing event.

Additionally, we had a Paramedic-led team in Swansea supporting the Dragons Hockey Festival 2024 which took place over the weekend, which saw 6 teams competing at Swansea Hockey Club.

We also deployed a large team to support Relish The Great Outdoors with their Wye Valley Tunnels Run events, where runners participated in races of various lengths including a cloudburst run, 10k, half marathon and full marathon.

July was a busy month for our team as we continued to support various annual events with enthusiasm and dedication.

We were once again proud to assist Penarth Town Council with their Penarth’s Summer Festival & Downhill Derby which took place on Penarth’s Esplanade.

Our team also had a great time in Whitchurch, supporting the Vintage For Victory - Vintage Festival Wales . This event is always a firm favorite among our team, and this year was no exception. The weather was beautiful, the lineup of acts was fantastic, and everyone had an amazing few days.

In addition to these two beloved events, we were excited to add a new event to our schedule. We provided a paramedic for the Go Underhill Celebration and Family Fun Day event at Under Hill Park marking another successful event for our team.

As well as providing cover for the Nibley Festival during the first weekend of July our team also provided cover for 5 other events across the weekend.

Our team once again provided a medic to the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama - Coleg Brenhinol Cerdd a Drama Cymru Summer Ball as well as several religious events taking place across the weekend in Port Talbot.

We also supported the Food and Drink Festival / Gŵyl Bwyd a Diod Caerdydd 2024 which saw a team of medical personnel providing cover across all 3 days.

Finally we provided a Paramedic 4x4 and medical team to the MTB-Marathon Series event held from .

July saw our team deploy to our first festival of the year providing a full medical package of construction and derig cover and full 24/7 event cover to the Nibley Festival 2024.

The last few months have been super busy for our team here at Acute Medics.

We have continued to support our ongoing Film/TV commitments providing multiple medics for constructions and shoots across South Wales.

The last weekend in June saw our team out providing a CRU and medical staff to support the Superhero's dash at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff raising vital funds for the Noah's Ark Children's Hospital Charity.

We also provided a frontline emergency ambulance and crew plus an additional Paramedic to support the Cardiff Valkyries fixtures at St. Cyres School in Penarth.

The Acute Medics Team had the pleasure of supporting the team again over the weekend at the Cheddar Gorge Challenge 2024.

Our team had a great time supporting the 2024.

This year we saw 60 teams tackle the 200 mile run from Caernarfon Castle back to Cardiff Castle across 2 days. It was a pleasure to support this event again which we first started supporting in 2017.

Well done to everyone who took part in this fantastic event and we look forward to seeing you all again next year.

That’s our team all set to start the 2024 Welsh Castles Relay at Caernarfon Castle. We have a Paramedic lead Emergency Ambulance, Technician lead RRV and a MRU to provide medical support to all the runners undertaking this year’s race across the next two days.

Well its been a super busy start to the year for our team here at Acute Medics.

We have continued to provide our standard Ambulance cover for both and The Cardiff Devils over the last few months. As well as providing cover to a wide variety of events.
