📢 Changes coming to Bridgend town centre
From Wednesday 15 April 2026, extended loading and unloading hours and new Blue Badge parking bays will be introduced as part of an 18-month trial scheme.
These changes aim to better support businesses while improving accessibility for residents.
What’s changing?
🚚 Loading hours revised to before 11am and after 4pm
♿ New Blue Badge parking bays on Derwen Road
🚲 Improvements to bicycle access
🎉 Greater flexibility to support town centre events
The scheme will be closely monitored, with feedback from businesses and residents helping to shape any future adjustments.
