I have had this idea in my head for years now...originally it was for training days. As a Neurodivergent adult, and somebody with anxiety I have always struggled with sharing space with others for group activities and would always opt not to take part. The recovery time for me was weeks if i did attend and that just made daily life hard.
Fast forward to now, and I am in a position to support others who may feel like this by offering Pod Relaxation...bear with me here!
A relaxation & guided meditation session with absolutely no expectation to interact or engage with other attendees if you don't want to.
Each person will have their own pod in the room ( aka open fronted pop up tent) with yoga mat, blankets, cushions and lights inside. You arrange it as you wish.
You choose whether to face me or to cocoon yourself and face away.
then I guide you on a journey of meditation, awakening and healing.
following this you can then either relax in your pod with a drink or chat to others, or leave to carry on with your day. Whichever is most comfortable for you.
90 minute session = 60min guided 30min for reflection/cuppa/chat
designed with Neurodivergent & Anxious people in mind, but open for all.
small groups of up to 6 people is my initial thinking so that it is not too overwhelming.
separate sessions for Adults, and Young People
