SDR Fitness SDR FITNESS is a strength and confidence building therapy centre aimed at clients with neurological conditions including cerebral palsy.

We are personal trainers who have been specialising in this field for over 15 years. SDR FITNESS is owned and run by parents of 2 CP/SDR children. We are a strength and confidence building therapy centre based in South Wales. We work with all neurological conditions including cerebral palsy and specialise in pre & post-op SDR rehabilitation. We run 1,2,3,4 and 5 day intensive strength and confidence building courses. All our courses and programmes are designed specifically for each individual, to maximise the clients potential in a fun and friendly manner, at our colourful and welcoming centre. All our trainers are qualified to a minimum of level 3 in personal training, are first aid trained, are DBS checked and also have insurance up to the required ÂĢ10m.

Its with great sadness that one of life's incredible humans has passed over. Michael Kenyon (mad mike) was not onlyan amazing physio to thousands of children worldwide but a great friend and mentor to myself. Thoughts with Margaret and the family at this very sad time ###

Huge congratulations to Dexter. Last summer he climbed the mountain behind our centre which was the equivalent of walking up and down 12 flights of stairs with extremely rocky terrain. So this summer we set him the challenge to do it twice, that's 24 flights of stairs. It was very hard at times and he had to dig in, but in true Dexter fashion he smashed it. An incredible feat for a young man who battles cerebral palsy every single day. Super proud of you fella 👏

So a year ago my son Thomas was asked by Russel T Davies (producer)to be an extra in a Dr Who episode about disabilities. You can imagine his excitement as his youtube channel is everything Dr Who. As many of my friends now, my eldest son who has quadriplegic cerebral palsy, started his own YOUTUBE channel based on "DR WHO" 7yrs ago when he was just 14. After years of dedication his passion has now become his full time job, and a successful one at that. Not only has Thomas met many of the shows stars over the years, but also now counts the producer of the show Russel T Davies as a friend now too. Infact the actual wheelchair ramp used on the set of Dr Who to get into the tardis has even been named "THE THARRIES RAMP" In homage to Thomas' work. Well, this saturdays episode of Dr Who on BBC1 at 6.50pm is particularly exciting for the Harries household and to all who have disabilities. Saturday morning i will tell all. For now, anyone who is a DR WHO fan, please subscribe to Thomas' youtube channel. He is very close to being the No1 Dr Who channel in the UK, let's help him become number 1.

So so heartbroken to share the sad sad news of Dr Parks passing. He was not only an amazing human being that changed thousands of lives around the world but a good friend who was always there. I will cherish our times together sharing a beer or two, playing golf or just chatting. My thoughts and prayers go out to Meeaeng and the family. R.I.P TS ###

We work with all neurological conditions including cerebral palsy and specialise in pre and post-op Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) patients. We run 1,2,3,4 and 5 day intensive strength and confidence building courses at our centre in Cardiff as well as therapy blocks overseas. All our courses and programmes are designed specifically for each individual to maximise the clients potential in a fun and friendly manner. All our trainers are qualified to a minimum of level 3 in personal training, are first aid trained, are DBS checked and also have insurance up to the industry required ÂĢ10m.
