Had a Minor injury in the last 2 weeks? Come along, it’s what we do.

For anything else, choose the right service. If you are unsure call 111 before making an unnecessary journey.

For medical emergencies for example chest pain, call 999 for an ambulance from where you are. We cannot provide definitive treatment in the MIU for these conditions and you delay your own treatment by attending a service that cannot treat you.

Feeling unwell? 🤧 Your local pharmacist can help!

It’s certainly true when they say it’s the teamwork that makes the dream work !

Breast cancer has touched all of our team’s lives and the last year has seen staff, friends and family becoming survivors and receiving active treatment, through early detection and improvements in treatments.

A few weeks ago, our Jackie P had a crazy idea of raising a £1000 for the Breast Cancer Awareness charities . We’ve done similar things in the past for various causes but never had a vision for this amount. Raffle tickets were sold and money donated to win prizes.

Well today, our grand total reached £1064.78 !!!!! An amazing achievement.

The raffle has been drawn and if you have won a prize one of the team will be in touch.

We would like to thank each and every one of you for donating to the raffle and to local businesses and individuals for donating prizes. You donations will go a long way in trying to prevent this horrible disease and improve lives.

The MIU team wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy, healthy New Year xx
