Did you know that every day we see patients arriving in Minor Injuries with conditions we cannot treat?

We understand this may be disappointing especially for those patients who have travelled a long way. Some patients even show their frustration with verbal abuse to staff which is not acceptable, and yes, this happens most days too.

We urge you before travelling to see our criteria and the patients we can treat or call 111 for advice.

Please note our X-ray facility is available 9-5pm Monday to Friday and is closed at Weekends and Bank Holidays.

Thank you

Happy AHP Day 2025!!!

Today is the 8th annual AHP Day, it's a day for AHPs across England and around the world to come together and celebrate the significant impact AHPs have on delivering high quality care. The theme for this year is the 3 shifts described in the 10-year health plan: hospital to community, analogue to digital and treatment to prevention.

AHPs play a vital part in system wide care from birth to end of life. They are involved in assessing, treating, and diagnosing patients across health, social care, housing, education, early years, schools, the criminal justice system, independent and voluntary sectors. Our collective strength and impact are central to the future of the NHS and the delivery of high-quality care across all settings, which the 10 Year Health Plan seeks to make.

As a Community Provider this year's theme really helps us to showcase the work we already do, as well as the work we can do, to further improve the delivery of health over the coming years.
