A Butterfly Cafe singalong and exercise to music led by Naomi PEART went down fantastically well with everyone today. Next it’s our ‘talking tables’ drop in session on Friday 15th May. It’s always a fun welcoming atmosphere with great cakes!

The next Home Instead Community Hub will take place at the hospital on Thursday 23rd April 2026 between 10:00am - 1:00pm. Our Coffee Shop will be open then too!

What a brilliant night we had at The Garden Bar who provided light refreshments whilst Dick PINCHES and his wife Sue were the quiz masters. Just under £300 was raised so thanks to everyone involved for your support. Special thanks to Verena who organised another successful LoF fundraiser and to all at The Garden Bar for letting you use your room.

What a fantastic turn out yesterday at our Easter Coffee Morning! Our volunteers worked so hard organising the event, making things to sell, collecting raffle prizes and so much more. Thanks to them for their efforts and you for your support. We raised just under £800 on the day!

We’ve been busy today putting these planters together ready to sell at our Easter Coffee morning which will start at 10:00am on Saturday. There are a load of great raffle prizes to be won, an Easter bonnet competition, chocolate tombola, great value brand new baby and toddler knitwear as well as second hand books and jigsaws. Call in for some delicious locally made cake and a cuppa.

Paddy CONNOLLY, one of our Knit and Natter ladies, celebrated part of her 90th birthday today in our regular Tuesday group session so we got to wish her a very happy birthday and asked her to pose with some of the fantastic raffle prizes which have been very generously donated by various individuals and businesses in town (full details to follow) for our Easter Coffee Morning which takes place in the Coffee Shop between 1000 - 1200hrs on Saturday 28th March 2026.
