Home Instead are holding some more Wellbeing Information Hubs at the hospital this year. The first event will be between 10:00am - 1:00pm on Thursday 26th February 2026. Entry is free. Specialists from the following organisations will be in attendance to answer any queries you may have:

We are promoting this event in support of The Friends of Shrewsbury & Telford Hospital and Shropshire Rural Support who are holding a fundraiser for their respective charities at Stanley Hall at 12 noon on Wednesday 11.03.2026. Details on how to book are given in the poster below.

We are absolutely delighted to have received a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ food hygiene rating in our volunteer run Coffee Shop where we sell delicious cakes made locally by Flourish Kitchen. We have a ‘buy 9, get the 10th drink free’ loyalty card scheme AND a great value meal deal on offer. It’s well worth a visit for a warm and a cuppa!

Many thanks to Annette for running a painting workshop at our Butterfly Cafe today. Everyone got involved in making some cards which look absolutely fantastic. It’s ‘Talking Tables’ between 2:00-4:00pm on Friday 20th February followed by chair based exercise on Friday 6th. Come along and mix in with this friendly bunch.

Why not visit our wonderful Coffee Shop where we have a selection of greetings cards in stock suitable for almost every occasion. They are great value at £1.00 each and you can have a cuppa, piece of cake and browse around our library, craft and jigsaw shelves at the same time. Our sandwich meal deals are pretty good too!

Earlier today George BUCKLEY led a brilliant ball based activity session in our Butterfly Cafe. It was a great way to start 2026 after the weather caused havoc with our schedule. We will be back on Friday 6th February for more fun and light refreshments.

A Christmas Party was held on the Agnes Campbell Ward today for all the inpatients. Our talented volunteers made gift packages for the cards and vouchers which were hand delivered along with some presents for the wonderful staff. The tree donated by Nick BROMLEY looks absolutely fantastic in the quadrangle courtyard garden! 🎄🎄🎄
