Important Update

As of 27 July, this page will be closed, marking the end of our journey with The Bridge Charity.

Founded and self-funded by Ajda and myself, The Bridge has been a deeply personal mission. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of treating more than 269 veterans, at no cost, many of whom had found little success elsewhere. It’s been an honour to walk alongside them in their healing.

Now, the time has come for us to close this chapter. But this isn’t goodbye. We’re still here, currently working on research projects with several universities, continuing our commitment to mental health and recovery in new ways.

Thank you to everyone who supported us, and especially to those who trusted us with their care. Your courage has meant everything.

With gratitude,

Cormac

Gus is a 62 year old paratrooper and Falkland War Veteran. He’s currently on day 11 of a hunger strike to raise awareness of PTSD, veteran suicides and the lack of support.

Gus has asked that all Service Personnel and Veterans who aren’t committed to another remembrance parade this Sunday, to give him the honour of attending a parade with himself. (Details in the photo below).

The media will be present and have asked to talk to as many of us as possible about the lack of support, both in and out of service. This is our chance to get our side across.
