๐บ Lest We Forget ๐บ
As we pause to remember this Remembrance weekend, we are reminded that every name, every medal, and every story represents a life of courage, sacrifice, and service - often by very young men and boys.
This week, we were deeply moved when a family we are currently caring for kindly presented us with treasured memorabilia from their family from both World Wars to put on display with our existing remembrance memorabilia. A poignant reminder of the generations who gave so much for the freedoms we hold today and for which we, here at Perry & Phillips, are grateful and thankful for.

Born in Wednesbury, Eric served in the Royal Navy from 1944 to 1946 aboard LSE 52, earning the War Medal. After his service, he became a skilled shopfitter, working for Marsh & Baxter, Mitchells & Butlers, Wimpey, Aramis, and National Milk Bars.

Ericโs father, Horace, also from Wednesbury, served in the Royal Army Medical Corps (421171) during the First World War, seeing service across France and Germany from 1914 to 1920. He was awarded both the British War Medal and Victory Medal before returning to civilian life as a pattern maker at F.H. Lloyd.
Their stories, spanning two world wars and a century of history, remind us that remembrance is not only about the past, it is about carrying their values of duty, resilience, and humanity forward into the present and future.
We honour Eric and Horace Morgan, and all who have served, past and present.
Please feel free to visit during office hours to view this incredible memorabilia and history.
Thank you again to the family for entrusting us with such special and important items.
