Exciting news. We are joining forces with John Biddle Opticians. From Monday 27th June we will be moving across the road to number 59 & becoming Biddle + Liage Opticians + Hearing Care. There will still be familiar faces & we hope to welcome you for all your optical needs very soon.

Following new guidance from NHS England (NHSe), and having necessary PPE in place, we are open, Monday to Friday. Access to the premises is by appointment only in order to maintain social distancing. This is for eye health examinations, sight tests, collection of specatacles or contact lenses. Please phone 01746 768 544 to make an appointment.

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

In accordance with Government restrictions we are closed until further notice.

If you have any emergency eye health issues or emergencies with spectacle loss or damage, please phone our regular number 01746 768 544, which will be on divert to an optician.

We have information regarding access to treatment and can triage your eye problem accordingly.

Emergencies regarding spectacle damage:- We have facilities to make up spectacles the same day (dependent on lens powers. Higher lens powers, bifocals or varifocals will take longer. At present, lens manufacturing is available through certain channels. This may change).

However, we are unable to facilitate repairs to spectacle frames at this time.

Any clients who have outstanding spectacles (or contact lenses) to be collected, we will advise you when they are ready and will arrange a convenient time for collection.

Coronavirus (Covid-19)

We'd like to assure our clients of our utmost care and attention to their health during this period of uncertainty.
Not only do we sterilise sight test equipment between patients (as we have always done), we now sterilise frames that have been tried on by clients before anyone else can try them on. We also have hand sanitising available and sanitise items such as the PDQ machine, door k***s, pens etc

Prue Leith has developed the range with Ronit Fürst after winning Spectacle Wearer of the Year & the collection is focused on colour, something Prue is well known for.
