Hi all,

Does anyone know who owns this car?
It has been parked in the disabled bay outside the pharmacy for two days now and patients that require the use of the disabled space are commenting that they are struggling to get to us.

If anyone knows the owner and could ask them to kindly move it as constant access is required.
There isn’t a note or anything but if it’s broken down or can’t be moved please let us know at the pharmacy and we can advise our patients of where to park whilst it’s being moved 😊

Update: we are open now but we will be closing at 4pm to allow staff to safely get home before dark! We have also had phone calls to say our deliveries can’t get to us so no stock will be coming in today! Sorry for any inconvenience but safety is my priority. Thanks all, laura ❤️

Morning all, due to the weather we maybe be working on reduced staff until they can all get into town. Please be patient as there maybe a little longer wait than normal and our deliveries may be later getting to us or maybe delayed until tomorrow with stock in. Thanks for your understanding. Morning, as some of our staff live out of town and with current road conditions, if you’re planning on coming in this morning if it’s possible for you to pop in slightly later than opening time, it would be appreciated.
This gives our staff time to get in safely and saves a wasted journey!

REPEAT PRESCRIPTION ORDERING 💊

Evening all,
As most of you are aware the P.O.D (prescription ordering direct) is closing.

So I have been discussing ways we can help our patients with the girls and Just wanted to update you all on what has been decided,
You can now bring the copy of your repeat with items ticked that you need into us 10-14 days (ext weekends and bank holidays) before you are due to run out of your medication, this allows us to get your request to the gp, the g.p 5 days to process your request and then another 1-2 days for us to order/prepare your medication ready for collection/delivery without you running out of medication. Please note we can’t take requests over the phone unless other wise agreed.
This service is a ‘drop and run’ type service where we are just taking repeats up for our patients ONLY and then have no responsibility for the order being processed, therefore if we do not receive your prescription you would have to chase this up with the surgery yourselves.

This is all in the interest of our patients and to try make this cross over easier for all involved.
Alternatively, You can also download the nhs app where you can order your repeat meditations, any further information about this you would need to ask your g.p surgery. We can show you how to order once the app has been downloaded and ready to use.

So this weekend we’ve had more improvements!
It’s been a long weekend but we’ve got there!
Still a few bits to finish off (and a new till to be put in) but the main work to the front of the shop is now done! Just needs to be organised 🙈
