At Dementia Care TLC we provide reliable and affordable personal assistance services to clients in Bridgwater and the surrounding area. We aim to provide personal care and support in ways which have positive outcomes for our client and promote their active participation. We examine our operations constantly to ensure that we are successfully achieving our stated aims and purposes. We welcome feedback from our client and their friends and relatives. We provide a package of care to each client that contributes to his or her overall personal and healthcare needs and preferences. We will co-operate with other services and professionals to help to maximize each clients independence and to ensure as fully as possible the clients maximum participation in the community. Before we provide services, we ensure that a potential clients needs and preferences are thoroughly assessed. We aim to ensure our team meets the assessed needs of each client, that needs are re-assessed as frequently as necessary, and that the care and support provided have the flexibility to respond to changing needs or requirements. We are whole-heartedly committed to providing top quality services and to continuous improvement in the level of the care we offer. Standards for our Team are based on the national occupational standards for the care industry set by the National Training Organisation. Our Service User Bands: (Older people, People with physical disabilities, People with sensory loss, People with Mental Health disabilities, People with learning disabilities, People with palliative care needs, People with health-related requirements, Personal or family carers) We can facilitate outside of these fields if you feel we meets your requirements.

Dementia Care TLC Limited is a small community care agency based in Bridgwater and Burnham-on-Sea. We look after our clients in their own homes in various ways, including sitting services, personal care, and community access.

As a community care provider, we understand exactly what it’s like to do the job. All our managers have worked in the community. We strive to make both our staff's and clients' lives better. Our management team is always on hand to help out when needed and still actively supports clients. Our motto is: "If we won’t do it, how can we expect our staff to do it?" A two-week rolling rota so you always know your schedule, enabling better work-life balance without hidden surprises.
Overtime available if desired.

24/7 support: There is always someone available to assist you, no matter the time of day.
A focus on quality care over quantity: We allow time to care for clients properly, building meaningful relationships with them.

Flexible hours for staff with children to support better work-life balance.
Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care and support to clients in various settings, including assisted living and home care environments.
Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene.
Monitor clients’ health and well-being, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by managing behavior and assisting with mobility.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with family members and team members.
What We Expect from You

A kind, caring, and compassionate nature—qualities that cannot be taught.
A valid driving license and access to a car.
Availability to work every other weekend.
A willingness to learn new things, even if you have prior experience in the care sector.
