Lets talk altar spaces...... as some of you may know, I am a practicing witch and in my practice, altars and sacred spaces form an important part of that practice. I have a number of altars, mainly dedicated to diety for various reasons. I have:
π€ My main altar space is dedicated to Lilith, the diety that I work with all of the time.
π€ An altar dedicated to Sheela Na Gig, the diety whose energy is with me through this calendar year. (At the end of each year, I ask my oracle cards to show me the Goddess I need to work with for the following year).
π€ A mini altar for the Goddess of the moonth, this forms part of a journalling group I subscribe to.
π€ An altar to Venus/Aphrodite. Also as part of that journalling subscription, we look at astrology and time lords, this year of my life is a Libra year and Libra is ruled by Venus. (Photo).
These altars are located all around my home and some are bigger and more elaborate with some being small and beautiful.
It's actually a great time for me to have a Venus timelord year because Venus is all about self love and filling your own cup which, as most of you know, I need after the year I had last year. So, my Venus altar is in the bathroom and is an altar I dedicated to my most basic form - being naked. I keep my skin care on this altar too for a bit of extra self love π€
Today is the first time that I have been at my Venus altar in over a week as I have been really unwell with a dental abscess (I'm fully back to normal now π€).
So, I just wanted to share with you one of my sacred spaces.
Do you have an altar? If so, what's on your altar that makes you glow inside? π€
