🌍 World Cancer Day – 4th February 🎗️
Today, on World Cancer Day, I want to shine a light on the importance of gentle, compassionate support for those living with cancer.
Support doesn’t always have to be big gestures — sometimes it’s listening, being present, offering calm, comfort, and safe touch 💛
As a qualified Butterfly Touch Oncology Massage Therapist, I have undertaken specialist accredited training to safely support clients with a cancer diagnosis. Butterfly Touch therapies are designed to be deeply relaxing, calming and balancing, always adapted to the individual’s needs and medical considerations 🦋
Never underestimate the power of gentle, informed touch — it can bring comfort, reduce anxiety, and offer a moment of peace during an incredibly challenging time.
If you or someone you love is living with cancer and would like to explore supportive complementary therapy, please feel free to reach out or ask questions in confidence.
💙 “Do not underestimate the power of your touch and the strength in your gentleness.” 🦋
WORLD CANCER DAY 4th February 2026
We can support people with cancer in many ways by offering lifts to and from hospital, picking up shopping, cooking a meal, making a cup of tea and listening, all of these provide invaluable support.
Butterfly Touch Therapists are experienced practitioners in one or more of the following modalities, Massage, Reflexology or Reiki. They have taken further accredited professional training in oncology in order to support clients with a cancer diagnosis by offering their relaxing, balancing and calming treatments to clients with a cancer diagnosis 🦋
Our therapists are located all over the world. Please use our Approved Therapists Register (link in the post and in comments below) to find someone close to you
