The Beverley Heritage Circle

Join us on Saturday, 7 February for an 11-mile circular walk exploring Beverly and its beautiful surrounding countryside.
We’ll set off promptly at 9:00 AM from Beverley Westwood Car Park, returning to the same location at approximately 2:00 PM. This scenic route takes in a variety of memorable and historic landmarks, including the magnificent Beverley Minster, St Mary’s Church, and the bustling market area—showcasing the town’s rich medieval and Georgian heritage.

A nice easy walk taking in all the history of Beverley.

The Chalk Walk was our first group. It’s now 5 years ago !!! It will be shorter than the original but will still take in all the beautiful scenery of the east coast.

We originally did this walk a couple of years ago. Fantastic walk that has a bit of everything

The Gansey Girl Bridlington
Created by artist Stephen Carvill. Located on the north pier, the statue is a tribute to the town’s maritime heritage, depicting a young woman knitting a traditional, heavy fisherman’s sweater called a “gansey”. It honors the families of local fishermen and is inspired by a 19th-century photograph by Frank Meadow-Sutcliffe.
