I found this and it’s so true. There is no right moment other than the moment your in right now. There are no do overs, we mess up..move on. Mistakes are made… learn from them without beating yourself up too much. But don’t wait around for the right time because that time is right now. Never say when I have a minute I’ll get to it because believe me in the busy lives we live that minute will never come and by the time it does it maybe too late. Do it now, say it now. Lets Talk Cortisol and the Menopause
During the Menopause cortisol levels can rise, it upsets sleep, and is responsible for some of the Menopausal weight gain and can actually worsen the symptoms of Menopause.
What is Cortisol? Its a steriod stress hormone released by the body to assist in the fight or flight response so when the hormone is released due to stress and it turns out your not running from the bear that is not there, cortisol will attach it self to cells and become fat.
Its important to de-stress, how can you do this?
Massage and Reflexology, yoga, meditation, walks in nature. Take time to decompress and release some of the stress.

I had company on my morning dog walk. Getting back into nature and feeling grounded when your head is whirling is a must for me. I love the smell of the trees and watching the changes in nature to me are nothing short of magical.

The Menopause is a phase in life which continues to fasinate me, having been there and come through the other side I still feel some connection to it, giving Reflexology treatments and advice based on my own experience during this transitional period to some lovely Ladies.
Looking after your skin is so important at any time through life but never more so during menopause. The menopause has a ripple effect which transends the hormone system affecting through out the body and never more so than the skin.
