🎤🕺 Elvis has entered the building! 🕺🎤

Our residents had a fantastic afternoon today as we welcomed a very special visitor… Elvis himself! ⭐️

There was plenty of singing, smiling, and toe-tapping along to all the classics — the atmosphere was amazing, it felt like we’d been transported straight back to the golden days of rock ‘n’ roll. 🎶💙

It really was “Now or Never” to get up and dance, and we definitely couldn’t help falling in love with the show! 😉✨

A huge thank you for such a brilliant performance — we’re still all shook up! 🎸🎵

🌸🐰 What a lovely Easter weekend at Marton Gate Manor! 🐰🌸

We had a very special visitor hop in to see us… the Easter Bunny! 🐣
Easter eggs were delivered to our residents and it’s safe to say it caused lots of laughter (and a few surprised faces too!).

After all the excitement, we finished the weekend with a relaxing pamper session, the perfect way to unwind and feel refreshed.✨

We also put the finishing touches to our Easter bonnets, ready to show them off in style!🌷

A wonderful weekend filled with smiles, treats, and special moments shared together. 💛

🐣🌸 Easter crafting fun 🌸🐣

Now that we’ve (mostly) recovered from the butler antics 😄👀… our residents have been keeping things a little more wholesome this afternoon with some Easter suncatcher making! ☀️✨

With the weather getting warmer and brighter, these colourful creations are the perfect way to welcome spring and they look absolutely stunning when the sunshine hits them 🌈🌷

Craft activities like this are a great way to:
🐰 Boost creativity and confidence
🖐️ Support fine motor skills and coordination
💛 Encourage socialising, laughter and wellbeing

💍 Wedding celebrations are in full swing at Marton Gate Manor! 💍

This week our wonderful residents decided to treat our Head Housekeeper (and soon-to-be bride!) to a proper send-off… with a surprise Butler in the Buff appearance! 😄👀

Safe to say it caused plenty of giggles… although our Head Housekeeper was far too shy for photos 🙈📸… but we can’t say the same for some of our lovely lady residents! 😆💃

The fun didn’t stop there as we were also entertained by the fabulous Sandra Robson, who had everyone singing along and smiling from ear to ear 🎶✨

A cheeky, fun-filled afternoon enjoyed by all, and one we won’t forget anytime soon!

We’re loving Nutrition & Hydration Week here at Marton Gate Manor! 🫖🍓

Yesterday, we took part in a wonderful Teapartea for Global Afternoon Tea – a lovely chance for everyone to come together and enjoy some treats and great company. Today brought some fresh, fruity fun with our tropical trolley, which went down an absolute treat with both residents and staff! 🍍🍉

It’s been fantastic to see everyone getting involved and enjoying the themed activities. A big thank you to our amazing team for their hard work and teamwork in making it all happen – we really appreciate everything you do! 💛

The sunshine in the sky has well & truly perked everyone up this last week! 🌞 There’s been such a lovely buzz around the home, with smiles all round and lots of laughter!

We even enjoyed a fantastic game of Easter Bingo at the weekend – it was very competitive, with plenty of chocolatey prizes and happy winners! 🐣🎉

Today brought another special treat as Careen, our wonderful carer, stepped into the role of Ice Cream Queen! 🍦 She served up delicious cones with all the favourite toppings, and it was the perfect way to make the most of the brighter weather.

A big thank you to Careen for spreading so much joy, lifting spirits & encouraging social interaction that creates special memories, and reminds us all how important it is to enjoy the simple pleasures together.

Here’s to more sunshine and smiles! 💛
