The season's upon us, festive treats to enjoy
But it's important to remember, we don't all share that joy
Whilst some find it merry, and some find it bright,
Some of us struggle to get through the night.
There are those that are grieving, and others depressed,
The cost of living has many of us stressed.
Anxiety is heightened, with each twinkling light,
Constant bells and music add to our plight.
So be kind and respectful, and gentle to all,
Some dance through the holidays, whilst some of us crawl.
Whatever we do, if we thrive or we rest,
We all have our demons, and we all do our best.
Keep an eye on each other, all round the clock,
And never forget its okay to talk
An amazing festive poem by one of our own… Callum Gibson - Dunfermline Facilitator
