I went on a rampage of F**K ITS!
Why? I wanted to take my power back to a situation that was out of my control.
It didn’t heal my broken heart, but it was my way of saying to me, “hey I’ve fu***ng got you”.
In these moments of hurt, we’re reminded that life is short. Anything can happen at any time. We can plan all we like but when things outside our control happen, it’s important to take our power back in a way that feels liberating.
My f**k it moments this week -
I went to two events that together cost more than I’ve spent on networking all of last year.
I drank four pints of cider with a good friend and got completely lost on a walk I’ve done hundreds of times, we said f**k it and laughed alot.
I went to London to spend the weekend with my best friend, took the week off work because why the f**k not, and somehow ran 5K which I haven’t done in years before jumping in the sea.
My f**k it moments haven’t changed my situation but they reminded me to choose me.
F**k it is the first step of change. It’s taking your power back and letting go of what you can’t control.
What’s been your f**k it moment this weekend?
