Residents from St James Park were all smiles during their latest outing to the charming Felicity’s Farm Shop. Surrounded by rustic charm and fresh countryside air, they browsed local produce and handmade goods with great enthusiasm.

The visit was topped off with a relaxing afternoon tea, featuring a selection of lovingly baked handmade cakes that were as beautiful as they were delicious. Laughter and conversation flowed freely, making it another memorable day for everyone involved.

🎉 A Delightful Surprise at St James Park 🎉

Today, we were honoured with a heartwarming surprise from our wider community friends at St James Park. In support of the Anthony Nolan Trust, the wonderful Lisa Burt crafted a truly exquisite fruit cake—a gesture of generosity and care that touched us all.

The cake was won by the lovely Kelly Heath, who, in an act of remarkable kindness, chose to donate it to our cherished resident, Norman. True to his generous spirit, Norman shared the cake with fellow residents and staff, bringing smiles and a sense of togetherness to everyone.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Lisa, Kelly, and Norman for making today so special. Your thoughtfulness and community spirit are deeply appreciated. 💐

The day continued....

🎶 Dance & Delight – Zorba the Greek After the feast came the festivities. With the infectious rhythm of “Zorba the Greek” playing, residents gathered in a circle, linking arms and moving together in the famous sirtaki dance. Some clapped along while others tried their steps with delight, led by staff members who had learned the choreography just for the occasion. The smiles were endless, the pace joyful—building slowly, like the song itself, into a full-blown celebration.

🌞 A Day to Remember From blue-and-white decorations to bursts of laughter, the Greek Day reminded everyone that joy has no age.
