Today at St James Park , the beautiful aroma of lavender filled the air . Our residents were busy stripping lavender stalks and carefully sorting the seeds to make lavender bags for their rooms , some also making presents for their loved ones . We picked the lavender from our sensory garden back in late summer and once dried lavender, we set to work using this wonderful resource.
Rosie made some lavender bags for her sisters , Joan put hers up in her room , Margaret’s was hung in her wardrobe . It was a lovely afternoon connecting with nature and making something useful at the same time 🤩
