Hi, I’m Kerry, founder of BMB Beauty Balm.

I created this balm with both care and simplicity in mind. My daughter struggled with severe eczema, and after trying countless products — including prescribed creams from the GP — we found that many seemed to sting and irritate her skin even more. I wanted to create something gentle, soothing, and effective, and thankfully this balm has been a real success for us.

At the same time, I became more conscious about the number of products and harsh chemicals I was using on my own skin, especially while navigating the changes that come with menopause. I wanted a natural, nourishing balm that felt kind to sensitive skin without unnecessary ingredients.

BMB Beauty Balm is wonderfully versatile too, making it perfect for everyday use or taking away on holiday. It can be used as a cleanser, moisturiser, lip balm, dry skin treatment, and even as a nourishing hair serum — one simple product for so many needs.

Shop bought spray deodorant is one of the most deadly cancer causing things you can put on your skin. Especially underarms for women as we generally shave ours.

As most of you know, I make my own chemical free beauty balm for face, but I have yet to produce a deodorant. I have decided to experiment on my own body.

I have always struggled to find a chemical free deodorant that I actually like. I absolutely hate the feel of Roll ins and to be perfectly honest, I don’t think that the fussy deodorant although I’ve tried it quite a few months is that effective in my job … I sweat!!!

So, I found this little tutorial on Instagram and thought I’d follow the instructions. I bought my own fragrance of essential oil, which is great because you can tailor it to suit.. I absolutely love Bergamont, so I have found a blend of bergamot, grapefruit and frankincense all in one and just added a few drops at the end.

This is made using distilled water as seen in picture too with the ice and then blending magnesium and a little bit of apple cider vinegar for antibacterial. I was a little worried about this bit, but you can’t smell it at all.

I’m going to give this a go and post back in a few weeks and let you know how it goes. ♥️

Thank you so much. I can’t believe it. I have been nominated for a muddy stilettos finalist award for the best Pilates studio in Dorset. I feel very lucky as I’ve only been in the county for seven months. Although I’ve been teaching Pilates for 15 years in Cornwall, we have already built up such a lovely community in Beaminster and Stoke Abbott.
