As the April bank holiday approaches, the arrangements for cover during April 15th, 17th and 18th will be as follows:

2022 Bank Holiday Date Hours of operation
Good Friday 15th April 9 - 5 pm
Easter Sunday 17th April 12 - 2 pm
Easter Monday 18th April 9 - 5 pm

This will be covered by Anchor Medical Practice (Netherton Health Centre, Halesowen Road, Dudley, DY2 9PU), Tel: 07966 196678.

We would like all patients in our community to be able to see a local GP this Bank Holiday.
We are working in partnership with all GP practices within your local community to offer GP appointments at the following practice:
Anchor Medical Practice (Netherton Health Centre, Halesowen Road, Dudley, DY2 9PU) will be providing cover over the April bank holiday period during the following times:
· Friday 15th April 2022 – 09:00 – 5:00 pm
· Sunday 17th April 2022 – 12:00 – 2:00 pm
· Monday 18th April 2022 – 09:00 – 5:00 pm

We would like to wish all our patients at AW Surgeries a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Monday and Tuesday, back open on Wednesday the 29th. We will then be closed again for Monday 3rd January and back open as normal from Tuesday 4th January.

GP Education Day.

The surgery will be open until 4pm today as part of the GP Education day which is taking place this afternoon, enabling clinicians in Dudley to keep up to date with training. If you need to seek medical advise please contact 111 or visit Urgent Care Centre

BLOOD BOTTLE SHORTAGE.

A supplier to the NHS has advised us of a global shortage of some equipment used for taking blood tests.

Anyone who needs a test for urgent health problems will still get one, but where your clinician recommends that it’s safe to do so, then you may be asked to come back for a test at a later date, or your appointment may be rescheduled.

Given the nature of the shortage, we cannot give an exact date for when the test will be rescheduled, but please be assured that if your condition or symptoms require it, then you will get a test, and we will be re-booking your test when supplies become more easily available.

If your condition or symptoms change or get worse, please contact the NHS as you would normally.

You can walk-in into the following location(s): The Saddlers Vaccination Centre is open seven days a week, 8am to 7pm, for both first and second doses of Pfizer and AstraZeneca - no appointment necessary.. Forrester Street Surgery, 1 Forrester Street, WS2 9PL, on the following dates:. Thursday 8 July, 2.45pm to 7.30pm (2nd dose AstraZeneca) Friday 9 July, 2.45pm to 7.30pm (1st/2nd dose Pfizer)
