Case study:
Initial conditions & Prognosis
Had a fall , developed severe back pain and bed bound, full support needed for movement. Low mood and constant pain.

85 year old female lady ,
Acute Kidney Failure
Renal function results: stage 4

Treatment already received for Severe UTI in the hospital . Discharged after a week for home.
Unable to take any pain Killer ( Non steroidal Anti inflammatory medicine (NSAID)
Unable to take codeine due to Side effects.
No improvement with pain .

Current medications
Hypertensive Medication , Losartan 50mg, daily
Diabetes Type 2 - metformin 500mg bd
Paracetamol 500mg tablets - take one or two four times a day (not more than recommended dose)
Atorvastatin 40mg tablet one daily
Ramipril 5mg capsules- take one daily .

Narié Holistic Treatment Plans:
Review client meds .
Non pharmaceutical interventions:

CBT talking therapy 4 sessions
Medical Acupuncture 5-6 sessions
