* NHS Cervical Screening Programme UPDATE *

For the patients who have a negative test result, they will be notified of this by a message on the NHS App and a notification will also appear if the settings are switched on. If the NHS App message is not read within 72 hours, a letter will be posted to the patient as a precaution.

Abnormal result letters will continue, for the time being, to be delivered by post.

Skippingdale Surgery will be closed for 16 weeks for renovation and improvement. This is effective from Friday 29 August 2025 at 18.30. The surgery is planned to reopen 2 January 2026.

You will be able to access all services at any of the other four sites during this time. If you order prescriptions, in person, at Skippingdale Surgery, please use the post box outside of the surgery or call (01652) 650131 and press 2 to order your prescriptions during the renovations.
