Our lovely residents enjoyed a fun and active afternoon filled with laughter and energy, using balloons, bats and balls to take part in a variety of light-hearted games that encouraged movement and teamwork. There was plenty of excitement as everyone joined in, cheering each other on and sharing smiles throughout. Alongside the physical games, we also enjoyed a friendly game of giant Snakes and Ladders, bringing out a little bit of playful competition. We were delighted to be joined by Harper, whose presence added to the joy of the day, making it a lovely, inclusive activity enjoyed by all. permission obtained to display photographs

Deputy Manager Mandy kindly treated all of our residents to a £1 bet on the Grand National, bringing plenty of excitement and anticipation to the day. Katie headed to the bookies to place all the bets, where they very generously gifted delicious cupcakes for everyone to enjoy. Residents gathered together to watch the race, sharing in the thrill, laughter, and friendly competition. It was a wonderful atmosphere, made even more special as Margaret L, Mandy, and Leonni were delighted to have backed the winning horse—what a fantastic result for all involved! permission obtained to display photographs

Residents made the most of the beautiful sunshine yesterday, soaking up some all-important vitamin D while enjoying the wonderful weather outdoors. The garden was filled with smiles and laughter as many residents gathered together for a lively singalong, with Alexa playing their favourite songs chosen by them. It was a truly lovely afternoon, with plenty of fresh air, music, and great company, creating a warm and uplifting atmosphere for everyone involved. permission obtained to display photographs

Orchard Court team members are taking on a fun and meaningful challenge by completing a sponsored walk across the Humber Bridge in fantastic fancy dress. Dressed in colourful costumes and full of team spirit, they are coming together to raise funds for our Residents Comfort Fund, a great cause while enjoying laughter, fresh air, and a real sense of community. Their enthusiasm and dedication highlight the caring and supportive environment at Orchard Court, making it an event to be proud of. Anyone wishing to sponsor the team is encouraged to speak to Shelly, Activity Coordinator. Every penny raised will go even further, as all funds will be generously matched £1 for £1 by Jasmine Healthcare

Shelly, our Activity Coordinator, brought smiles and laughter to everyone as she hopped into character as the Easter Bunny, spreading joy throughout the home. With a basket full of colourful Easter eggs and a cheerful spirit, she visited each resident, delivering sweet treats and warm wishes. Our wonderful residents enjoyed a delightful afternoon creating beautiful Easter decorations for our Easter tree, bringing colour, creativity, and plenty of smiles They designed hanging eggs, chicks, and spring flowers, each one unique and full of personality. The activity sparked lovely conversations and memories of past Easter celebrations, while also encouraging fine motor skills and self-expression. Seeing the finished tree proudly displayed, filled with their handmade creations, gave everyone a wonderful sense of achievement and added a warm, festive touch to the home. permission obtained to display photographs
