Couple of this week’s jobs… the first bear was in remarkably good condition for his 70+ years except his neck issue, and a few little worn parts here and there. The second one probably doesn’t look so different in the ‘after’ photo as he didn’t want to have a replacement leg, but did need lots of patching and very tiny holes fixing. He’s very tiny!

A very small customer this week for some repairs. He’s gone home today feeling much more together, and rather a lot smarter. I remember having these little toys like this when I was a kid in the 90s, you squeeze their belly and the arms move. Mine spent a lot of time attached to my thumb!

This is Paddy Paws. Poor chap had spent some time in his owner’s freezer after a very bad moth infestation. So, although he came to me without any live moths, he was absolutely full of moth larvae, and his fur was shedding everywhere! Hence why his before photo is from inside a big box 😆. The middle photos are just a little example of the massive amount of moth larvae that was inside him. He required lining, darning and repairing all over, to preserve as much of his originality as possible. I believe he will be getting a lovely outfit to cover up some of his chilly body now he’s lost so much of his fur. And he doesn’t want to talk or even think about moths ever again. (It’s not the moths’ fault, really, they don’t know they shouldn’t have their enormous families inside teddy bears).
