‼️NEW SPORTS MASSAGE THERAPIST‼️

I would like to introduce you all to Amelia our new Sports and Deep Tissue Massage Therapist.

Amelia is currently studying Sports Therapy at Edge Hill University going into her final year but is already qualified in Sports Massage and Deep Tissue Massage.

So whilst she is home for the summer she will be joining the team and helping me out whilst I’m on maternity leave. We are hoping she will then rejoin us when she returns home for Christmas/Easter/Summer etc…

She starts on Wednesday 20th May and will be doing a mixture of Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Her prices for Sports and Deep Tissue Massage are as follows:

▪️45 mins - £35
▪️60 mins - £45

‼️IMPORTANT CLIENT NOTICE PLEASE READ‼️

I have made the decision to move our online booking system from Treatwell to Booksy from 2ND MARCH 2026.

The reason for this is because Treatwell are now charging additional fees and it is going to cost me a lot a month just to use their services so after looking around I found Booksy was the best to move to. So from 2nd March all reminder texts/emails will come from Booksy.

You may get notification saying appointment is now booked in with Booksy this is us we are just moving everything over this week! All appointments are still going ahead!!

You can still book online and they have an app you can download and manage all your bookings in the same way.

‼️ANNOUNCEMENT PLEASE READ‼️

I have an exciting announcement for you all! Some of you already know but not everyone does so I thought it was time to share with you all! ☺️

My partner and I are expecting our second baby at the end of May! 👶🏻 Freddie is very excited to be a big brother 🥹 and of course we are so excited and can’t wait to become a family of 4 but please don’t worry Ruth’s Sports Therapy isn’t going anywhere.

Kavan and Laura will still be working and I am hoping to take on another therapist as well (I will update you all on this soon when I have sorted it all out)

Some clients have already noticed that my online booking system is closed from April onwards this is so that I have more control over appointments. I will be starting to reduce my hours from March onwards as I do need to be careful and look after myself and my baby!

I am aiming to finish work at the start of May but having a baby is unpredictable and I don’t know how I’ll feel or anything like that so will be playing it one week at a time the closer I get.

My plan is to come back to work in October 2026 for two days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) I will also be doing some Saturday mornings. However, this is all subject to change depending how everything goes etc.. but I will keep you all updated. I will then eventually increase to three days and some Saturday mornings at some point like I do now but unsure when this will be.

Thank you all so much for all your support over the past 10 years and I hope you will all continue to support me and my business as I love my job and helping you all and seeing you all but I am also so excited to extend my family and become a family of 4 ❤️

‼️CANCELLATION POLICY‼️

We have a 24 hour and no show cancellation policy in place here at Ruth’s Sports Therapy this is whether you are seeing Ruth, Kavan or Laura it is the same policy.

The policy is if you cancel within less than 24 hours or don’t show up then we will charge you the FULL amount for the missed appointment as we won’t be able to fill it!

We understand things do come up as well but please where possible try and give us as much notice as possible so we can give the appointment to someone else!

Hopefully you can all understand why we have this policy in place. Thanks for your continued support and understanding ☺

Happy New Year from all the team at Ruth’s Sports Therapy!

This year has been an amazing year as l celebrated 10 years in business which is just a huge achievement and I’m so proud of myself, my business and my team ❤️
We celebrated 1 year of owning our own shop and I’m forever grateful to Katie for being the best business partner and friend ❤️
We expanded the team as Kavan joined us and he’s been a perfect addition; can’t wait to see him really build his clientele and smash his goals in 2026 🥳
Amanda from Dream Beauty joined us upstairs as our in house beautician and she’s doing amazing can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store for her 🥳

Thank you to my best friend Laura for everything she’s done this year for me and my business and family ❤️
