2025 was a big year, personally and professionally.

In April, I bought the business. A decision that came from years in the industry, a lot of thought, and knowing I was ready to grow, take on more responsibility, and raise standards.

Leaving teaching was another shift, but education has always been part of who I am. It’s something I’m excited to bring into the salon more through face-to-face and online learning, helping clients and the team better understand skin, treatments and wellbeing.

Community played a huge role this year too. Collaborating with and felt like a natural fit. Their members receive 10% off every visit, supporting people who already invest in their health and confidence, and adding value to what they’re already doing.

Launching our VIP Membership was another highlight. It was created to reward loyal clients, offer better value, and give a deeper insight into the brand, built on care, trust and long-term skin health rather than quick fixes.

Education stayed a priority, from our staff trip to Manchester Pro Beauty to investing in a new medical-grade skincare brand that’s already delivering amazing facial results. Hosting our first in-salon event was also a proud moment, with more planned for 2026.

I also took time to invest in wellbeing, attending a Rest & Restore class to strengthen the mind–body approach behind everything we do.

Thank you to the brands and collaborators who supported us this year (tagged below), and to every client who trusted me and supported the journey.

I hosted my first-ever in-salon skincare event, introducing the beautiful MediMD skincare range 🤍

We talked all things professional skin peels, why they’re so beneficial, especially at this time of year, and how they support brighter, healthier, more resilient skin when done correctly.

The energy was amazing, the conversations were honest and educational, and I loved being able to share real skin knowledge in a relaxed, fun space.

Every skin journey starts with a conversation.
Not a rushed one. Not a tick-box form. But a proper consultation where I take the time to understand your skin, lifestyle, concerns and goals.

This video shows a follow-up review, where we’re discussing how well this client’s skin is responding to her treatment plan. These check-ins are just as important as the initial consultation! They allow me to assess progress, fine-tune treatments, adjust home care where needed, and ensure we’re always moving in the right direction.

This particular client committed to a series of facials, with treatments and home care adapted as her skin changed. The results speak for themselves:
• Fewer breakouts
• Clearer, calmer skin
• A stronger, healthier skin barrier
• And most importantly, confidence without needing to rely on makeup

It’s one of those moments where you forget you’re a skin therapist and turn into a detective.

And honestly?
