Official WYS on Show (West Yorkshire County Scout Gang Show)

A gang show is a scout entertainment – an opportunity for young people to showcase their talents on a proper stage supported by adults. It is a great night out for the audience and a chance to see a family show which entertains and inspires. In West Yorkshire, we have staged a county gang show every two years at the Victoria Theatre in Halifax. This time the show will be held on February 15th, 16t

h and 17th 2018. We focus on ensuring that the performance is a mix of song, dance, comedy and drama whilst giving an opportunity to show case local Scouting. The 2018 show will focus on ‘A Million Hands’ and will be supporting the work of MIND – a mental health charity which focuses on young people. Cast members are recruited through this page in September and we then rehearse through from November to February on Sundays at Bradley Wood. We guarantee that you have the time of your life, make new friends and get an entertainer badge at the same time!
