Solution Focused Hypnotherapy can massively help with this approach. What’s happened has happened and nothing can be done to change the past. It’s gone. But our future is still ahead and it’s OURS to shape it how the heck we like! So please please please, don’t waste life by letting the past define you! 💝

Brighouse Mind and Body
One of life’s greatest lessons is learning how to let go and move forward.
We suffer not because something happened, but because the mind keeps returning to it. We replay old conversations, relive regrets, and reopen wounds that no longer exist anywhere except in memory. The past cannot be changed, corrected, or re-entered — yet we carry it as if it still has power over us.
☸️ In Buddhism, this is called attachment to what is no longer real.
The Buddha taught that suffering arises when we cling — to moments that have passed, to identities we’ve outgrown, or to stories that no longer serve us.
🧠 It is okay to remember.
💔 It is not okay to imprison yourself in yesterday.
Memories are teachers, not homes. You may look back to learn, but never to live there.
🌊 The past is finished.
✍️ The future is unwritten.
🕊️ This moment is the only place life is actually happening.
Buddhist practice reminds us to return to now — to the breath, the body, this step, this heartbeat. When you fully arrive here, the weight of the past loosens its grip. Not because it disappears, but because you stop feeding it.
🌱 Letting go does not mean forgetting.
It means accepting that what has ended no longer defines you.
🔥 You are not who you were when you were hurting.
🌿 You are who you choose to be now.
The present moment is always offering a fresh beginning — not tomorrow, not next year, but right here.
Release what is over.
Trust what is unfolding.
Live where life actually is — now.
