We are so proud of James and Rachel. They wanted to say a big thank you to all of those that sponsored them for completing the Macmillan Yorkshire Dales Marathon. It was a challenging course but finished it, James coming 142nd out of over 1400 entrants, beaten by Rach who came 66th!! The good news is that they’re still alive…….the bad news is that they can’t move!!!

Patient Experience - Nail Surgery

This young lady attended with an in-growing toenail having had a history of infections.
She previously had not wanted surgery due to a severe needle phobia, however the toe would not likely self resolve without intervention.
Rachel talked the patient through the procedure in detail so she was well informed prior to nail surgery. Despite the severe needle phobia, the patient allowed Rachel to administer local anaesthetic via injection twice into the toe. After the anaesthetic is injected, the procedure is then painless.
The patient is extremely happy with the outcome and has sent us a photo to show people how much better it is having gone through with the nail surgery!

Sandy & Bielby would like to say a huge heartfelt thank you to all of our wonderful patients and friends for helping support the Memusi Foundation, you have helped raise a fantastic £190. Max and some of his football team from Hepworth Juniors Under 15s will be travelling to Kenya in July for a week’s once in a lifetime volunteering opportunity. Once again thank you 🙏
