๐Ÿง โค๏ธ Did you know? There's a strong connection between heart health and brain health! February is Heart Health Month, and it's the perfect time to learn how taking care of your heart can also protect your brain.

๐ŸŒŸ Healthy Heart, Healthy Brain: Research shows that risk factors for heart disease, like high blood pressure, diabetes, and smoking, are also linked to an increased risk of dementia. By managing these risk factors, you can help reduce your chances of cognitive decline.

๐ŸŽ Eat Smart: A heart-healthy diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins supports both your heart and brain. ๐Ÿฅ—

๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ Stay Active: Regular physical activity improves blood flow and reduces the risk of heart disease and dementia. Aim for at least 30 minutes of exercise most days of the week. ๐Ÿ’ช

๐Ÿ’ค Sleep Well : Quality sleep is crucial for heart and brain health. Aim for 7-9 hours of restful sleep each night. ๐Ÿ˜ด

๐Ÿ’ž Be Kind to Yourself: Managing stress through mindfulness, hobbies, and connecting with loved ones can benefit your overall well-being. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Let's make heart-healthy choices this month and protect our brains for the future! โค๏ธ๐Ÿง

๐ŸŒŸ **Feedback on Health Talks Training Course** ๐ŸŒŸ

I am thrilled to share the incredible experience we had with the staff training provided by Health Talks! ๐ŸŽ‰

When I reached out to them with an idea to enhance staff wellbeing, Alix and Kim turned it into a reality. The training, delivered to 100 people split into three groups of staff, each workshop an hour long, covered essential areas such as physical health, sleep, workload, and mental health.

The feedback from our staff has been fantastic! Many have accessed the helplines offered during the training, booked medical checks, and increased their exercise thanks to Kim's advice. This not only benefits the individuals but also our entire team, as it helps reduce absences and the pressure on other staff members.

๐ŸŒŸI truly hope we can collaborate with Health Talks again๐ŸŒŸ
