Last session teaching nutrition to Swedish, Japanese and German students at . As well as some theory and a lot of discussion to practice English, I think it’s also important to try food too! We finished on a fun blind taste test - with Goji berries, marmite, Cheddar and of course some dark chocolate to name a few!

Nutritional therapy isn’t just about working with clients to address their health concerns with personalised protocols. It’s also about education and empowering food choices too - hopefully with a bit of fun and inspiration along the way 😁

A culinary experience of Strasbourg - and fascinating insight into how different cultures experience food.

From polyphenol-rich coffee, markets full of home grown (and antioxidant-rich) tomatoes, mushrooms and salad leaves, to braised pork, tarte flambee and locally produced (and gut-microbe-loving) cheese, it’s been a gastronomic delight.

Add in some fermented yoghurt, sauerkraut and locally produced beers (forgot to take photos!) and our gut microbiomes have been well and truly topped up with different varieties of pre and probiotics.

Food is to be enjoyed - and if we can make sure it also nourishes, then a double win!
