🧠✨ New research shows dopamine can reduce impulsiveness and help us stay focused on long-term rewards, and it beautifully reflects what we do in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy.

A recent neuroscience study found that when dopamine levels were boosted, people became less impulsive and more willing to wait for a meaningful reward, rather than rushing for quick, short-term relief.

This is exactly the space SFH works in. When we’re stressed, tired, overwhelmed or anxious, our brain naturally pushes us toward quick fixes, anything that gives immediate relief. But these “instant” reactions can keep us stuck in unhelpful loops.
