Woodcraft Workshops offer the chance to learn traditional woodcrafting skills at a rustic workshop in the beautiful woodland of Stanmer Park, Brighton.

The workshop by firelight!

Sorry we've been quiet this year. Life has got in the way. We're still taking group bookings, so if you want to do a corporate awayday or a workshop with friends/family, let us know.

We're also considering a pop-up shop in December for sustainable Christmas gifts, so if that's of interest, we'll keep you posted...

Thank you to everyone who visited us at Stanmer Organics Open Day. We hope you liked our pop up shop and enjoyed playing our instruments and learning to circular breath. We look forward to seeing some of you again. New workshop dates coming soon!

A natural piece of wood from a bay tree, in its original form, has been transformed into a beautiful Native American love flute - the first to be made out of bay at Woodcraft Workshops. It smells fantastic too!

With a passion for music, already expressed through life and work, our amazing student was completely immersed in the process throughout the two days of the workshop. We were all delighted with the end result - a flute producing an ancient, hypnotic melody invoking a sense of peace and connection to the natural world.

Spaces available on our Scandinavian Kuksa bowl workshop on Sunday 13th July. Do come and join us! No experience needed. You'll be expertly guided through the process of transforming a tree branch into a bowl, cup or spoon you can use yourself or give as a gift. A lovely introduction to traditional woodcraft in a beautiful woodland setting.

All of our workshops are suitable for beginners with no experience required. These workshops are for adults only. Please note that they are subject to the weather and spaces being filled.

For anyone interested in our workshops, we have a *special offer*. On Saturday 7th December we're giving eight people the chance to make a gift for someone at a discounted price.

So why not give your loved ones a much more personal present this year? Close the computer, avoid the shops, treat yourself to a day in beautiful surroundings and end up with a present to give someone special - that you have made yourself!

Choose one of four items - cheeseboard, kuksa bowl, walking stick or rustic clock.

Refreshments plus all tools, equipment and PPE provided. Bring a packed lunch/snacks. Dress for the outdoors. 18+

Some more striking and unique wall masks came to life at the workshop this weekend.

None of the students knew what they were going to create when they arrived. But the inspiration came and they were all rightly chuffed with what they achieved. We love how different they all are.

We've got TWO workshops running next weekend, so if you've got cabin fever and you're not ready to hibernate yet, come and get creative. It's a chance to make something special and unique. You'll learn new skills.

These workshops are for adults 18+ and no experience is required. All tools and protective clothing are provided. Comfortable clothing and footwear are recommended. Layers are advisable to avoid getting too hot or too cold. Teas and coffees are provided. Bring lunch and snacks.
