This week is Sexual Abuse & Sexual Violence Awareness Week.

Men and boys can be survivors too — yet many face barriers to being believed or accessing support.

At Mankind UK, we offer male centred support to people who are over 18 and have been affected by sexual abuse or sexual violence at any time in their lives.

We offer face to face services to people living in Sussex, and online services to people living in England and Wales

Today is often labelled “Blue Monday” — said to be the most difficult day of the year.

Whether that label resonates with you or not, we know that many people are struggling right now.

For male survivors of sexual abuse, feelings of low mood, shame, isolation or overwhelm can resurface — sometimes without warning.

If you’re feeling low, overwhelmed, or just not quite yourself, you’re not weak — you’re human. And you don’t have to face it alone.
