Here is an article about loneliness, the issue of which resonates in my life too. The times that people celebrate togetherness with their loved ones can emphasise the loneliness for those who do not have close connections or friendships in their lives.

For growing numbers of people the weekend is an emotional wilderness where interaction is minimal and social life non-existent. What can be done to break this toxic cycle?
