Free Public Workshop on Sunday 30 June 2024 By Khush Marolia
Topic: The Beauty and Grandeur of Vedic Chants

In recent years along with the acceptance of Yoga exercises as beneficial for health and well being many people have been exposed to and become familiar with the sounds of Vedic chants promoting relaxation of the body, calming of the mind and elevating our emotional ground. After a brief introduction covering the origin of Vedic chants the workshop will practice the sounding of three invocations, on Guidance, Perfection and Peace, in Sanskrit and their translation into English with a view to enlightening the mind with meaning and arousing the heart with positive emotions. Be prepared to participate.
