Ali qualified in 2015, at the College of Classical Massage, Brighton. She specialises in deep tissue, pregnancy, Thai and has a background in the Indian healthcare system Ayurveda. Ali has spent time living in Thailand and India, where her passion for massage, yoga and holistic therapies began. She is passionate about holistic healthcare and believes that every aspect of a person; mind, body and spirit, can benefit from receiving massage therapy. She finds working with clients on an individual level extremely rewarding, incorporating advice on soft tissue flexibility and well-being.

Hello & happy 1st October 🍂
A little update from me!

I’m so close to becoming a qualified Reflexologist and can’t wait to start including this as another amazing treatment I can offer you 👣

I’ve been reflecting a lot on my time studying Ayurveda in India, and the incredible treatments I trained in but haven’t yet brought into my home practice -Shirodhara being one of them (it involves a *lot* of oil and quite a bit of equipment! 👁️).
I’ve also been thinking fondly about my time working alongside my lovely Thai colleagues and the wisdom they shared.

Now, with the new space ready, I finally feel called to offer this special treatment, and I can’t wait to share it with you ✨

It’s amazing for achey, tired muscles; but particularly beneficial for newly post-partum women in their healing & recovery 💕

I will reveal more soon, but I think Autumn is the perfect time to add this new little addition to the menu✨

This lovely lady came to me after having done a lot of travelling and flying, which isn’t always great for water retention and circulation!

A subtle yet significant transformation in this before and after. Noticeably more defined and less bloated; and she left feeling much lighter, less puffy, and rejuvenated. ✨

Hi there👋🏽
I’ve had a bunch of new followers so thought I’d reintroduce myself!
I’ve been a massage therapist for 8 years now and I absolutely love it. Before finding massage I was on the path to be a primary school teacher, and spent many years working with children. I always loved it, but after living abroad for around 6 years on & off and spending a lot of time in Thailand and India, I became interested in the health & wellbeing world and I guess that’s where things started to shift.
After rather dramatically leaving teaching in South Korea (the classic midnight run), I came back and had no idea what I was doing with my life 🙃and on a slight whim I signed up to a massage course here in Brighton in 2015. I’ve since completed many more qualifications, including learning all about fascinating Ayurveda in India. It has taught me so much about life and given me the tools to understand how every body is different and how we all need different things to feel our best.
Pre-covid times, I spent two years volunteering for Macmillan giving massage to those affected by cancer. It truly made me realise how important the human touch is, how beneficial massage therapy is for the mind, body & spirit ✨ and how our health really is our greatest wealth. It was one of the most rewarding things I’ve done.
I am ALL about a three-prong approach- mind, body & spirit. Our mind/body connection is so strong and it is so important to make sure you’re taking care of your whole being. My intention when you book in with me is that your needs have been met on all levels.
Most recently I trained in the Sculptural face lifting technique with Yakov Gershkovic. Buccal massage is my new favourite thing and I can see it’s going to be really helpful for a lot of my clients. SFL is such an amazing treatment and the results just speak for themselves! I’m definitely someone that is all about the natural route and aging gracefully so I couldn’t be more excited about this method.

Happy Friday ✨🤍
As you may well have seen from my stories, the scheduled operation I was *meant* to be having has yet again been postponed.
This has been the biggest lesson in trusting the process, and ultimately leaving it to the professionals who want the best outcome for me.
However, of course yesterday I felt totally deflated/upset/frustrated/pissed off in all honesty 😂
But today is a new day, and I’m trying to turn it around by looking at all the positives.
I will be able to share my new treatment with you and not take a break at a bit of an awkward time, so that’s definitely a plus. I’m also hoping to start doing mobile work around the West Sussex area one or two days a week depending on interest- so if that is you, or you know anyone in that area that would like a home visit, please spread the word! Especially all those pregnant mamas out there🤰🏽 (I used to do this years ago and had a lovely client base until I moved away, so would love to start this up again).
Also just incase anyone missed it, appointments at The Space in Hangleton are now £5 extra to cover costs.
