Counting calories it’s just waste of time!
1. The human body is not a simple math equation. Calories are measured by burning food in the lab. We are not a calorimeter!
2. labels and apps are inaccurate
3. Not all calories are the same! Some food have same calories as others (or more) but they may have more nutrients.
4. For many people, counting calories lead to food anxiety, guilt, obsessive thinking, “all or nothing” thinking and distorted eating habits.
