💜 WORLD PANCREATIC CANCER DAY 💜
Today, we turn the world purple—for awareness, for hope, and for every life touched by pancreatic cancer.

Pancreatic cancer is often silent in the early stages, making awareness absolutely critical. By learning the signs, supporting research, and standing beside patients and families, we help bring light to a disease that urgently needs more visibility.

✨ Today, we honour:
• The warriors fighting with courage.
• The survivors who inspire us every day.
• The families and caregivers who give strength, love, and unwavering support.
• The loved ones we’ve lost, whose memory fuels our determination for change.

💡 Did you know?
Early detection can save lives—but symptoms are often subtle. If you or someone you love experiences persistent abdominal or back pain, unexplained weight loss, jaundice, dark urine, or changes in digestion, don’t hesitate to seek medical advice.

💜 How you can make a difference today:
• Wear purple and share a photo.
• Learn the early warning signs.
• Support pancreatic cancer research and patient care organisations.
• Reach out to someone affected and let them know they are not alone.

Together, we can raise awareness.
Together, we can push for earlier detection.
Together, we can create hope.

🌍💚 World Mental Health Day: The Mind–Body Connection in Cancer Care💚🌍

Today, on , let’s pause to honour something often overlooked in cancer journeys — the power of the mind.

🧠✨ Mental health isn’t just “in your head” — it shapes how your body heals, how you respond to treatment, and how you find strength in each new day.

Studies show that stress, anxiety, and depression can affect immune function, sleep, and even inflammation levels — all of which matter deeply when facing cancer.

But the good news? Hope, connection, and calm can help the body heal too.

💬 Simple things make a big difference:

🌿 Gentle walks in nature

💭 Talking openly about fears

💖 Mindfulness or prayer

🎶 Music, art, or laughter therapy

👫 Support from loved ones (or even strangers who understand)

Let’s remind each other:

🕊️ Caring for your mind is caring for your life — and no one has to do it alone.

🎀 October is here — and we’re thinking pink! 💗

This month, we wear pink to celebrate strength, spread hope, and remind each other that early detection saves lives. 🌸

Let’s cheer for the survivors, support the fighters, and honor the angels we hold in our hearts. 💞

But let’s also take action —

💗 Check yourself.

💗 Talk to your doctor.

💗 Encourage your loved ones to do the same.

Because awareness is beautiful, but action is powerful. Together, we are stronger, braver, and brighter — one ribbon, one reminder, one act of love at a time. 💕

🟡 July is Sarcoma Awareness Month 💛

Did you know sarcoma is one of the rarest and most overlooked forms of cancer, affecting the bones and soft tissues? It makes up only 1% of all adult cancers—but that 1% means everything to those diagnosed.

This month, we’re shining a light on the brave warriors fighting sarcoma, the families who stand by them, and the researchers and care teams working tirelessly for better treatments and hope.

✨ Early detection matters. Research matters. Awareness saves lives.
Let’s break the silence, support each other, and amplify the voices of those affected.

💛 Wear yellow, share stories, and show up for the sarcoma community this July. Every post, every word, every ribbon counts.

🩺✨ Cervical Screening Awareness Week | 17–23 June 2025 ✨🩺

Let’s talk about something simple that could save a life: cervical screening (also known as the smear test).

Cervical screening isn’t a test for cancer – it’s a test that helps prevent it. By detecting changes in the cervix early, we can stop cervical cancer before it starts. 🌸💪

Every year in the UK, screening saves thousands of lives. Yet many people still delay or miss their test due to fear, discomfort, or uncertainty. You’re not alone – and you’re not judged. 💙

This week is all about raising awareness, sharing facts, and reminding each other:

👉 Screening is quick

👉 It’s free

👉 And it could be life-saving

If you’re aged 25–64, you’ll be invited regularly – so check that letter, book that appointment, or encourage a friend to do the same.

Together, we can stop cervical cancer before it starts. 💜

🧠 Mental Health Awareness Week | 12–18 May
Theme: Movement for Mental Health

💬 “It’s not just the body that battles cancer — the mind does too.”

Whether you’re a patient, survivor, caregiver, or loved one, the emotional toll of cancer is real — anxiety, fear, grief, uncertainty. Mental health support isn’t a luxury during cancer. It’s essential.

🌿 This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re shining a light on:
✔️ The quiet strength in asking for help
✔️ The power of movement — even gentle walks can lift mood & reduce stress
✔️ The importance of emotional care alongside physical treatment
✔️ The right to feel everything — and not go through it alone

🧘‍♀️ Mindfulness.
🚶‍♂️ Movement.
🗣️ Counselling.
❤️ Compassion.

Every step toward better mental health is a step toward healing.

📆 Let’s talk about it. Let’s move for it. Let’s make space for it — together.

🌞 May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month! 🧴

Let’s talk about the most common cancer in the UK – and the one that’s largely preventable.

☀️ Whether it’s cloudy skies or beach days ahead, UV rays don’t take a break – and neither should your sun protection.

🧢 Slip on a hat

🕶️ Slap on those shades

🧴 Slather on that SPF (at least 30+, broad spectrum – every day)

👀 Check your skin monthly for new or changing moles

🩺 Book that mole check if something doesn’t feel right

✨ Early detection saves lives.

Your skin tells your story – protect it well.

🌱 This Easter, we celebrate more than springtime and sweet treats — we honour hope, renewal, and the quiet strength it takes to bloom again after life’s darkest seasons.

For many going through cancer — whether in treatment, recovery, or supporting a loved one — Easter is a reminder that healing isn’t always visible, but it’s happening. Like seeds beneath the soil, transformation begins in silence.

Let this season of renewal bring light into your days, courage to your heart, and the promise that new beginnings are possible — even after the hardest winters.

You are not alone. You are blooming. One moment, one breath, one day at a time 🌸

Wishing you peace, strength, and gentle joy this Easter 💚

Mother’s Day… It didn’t start the way I imagined. I had hopes for a special morning, but it turned into an average breakfast at an average café because there just weren’t any free spaces anywhere else. The mood was off, and I couldn’t shake this strange, lonely feeling. My daughter wasn’t in the best spirits either—grumpy, moody, crying, and screaming. It wasn’t the picture-perfect start I’d hoped for.

The rest of the day was a bit cold and distant, and I couldn’t help but feel a bit lost. But then, something shifted. We ended up having a really lovely time together, and I realized how precious those moments were. My daughter was absolutely wonderful for the rest of the day, reminding me that it wasn’t about her mood or the morning’s mishaps.

And while the day ended with a bit of heartbreak, I still felt grateful—grateful that I get to celebrate Mother’s Day as the mom of an amazing, beautiful, and wonderful girl. It’s not always perfect, but it’s mine. And that’s something truly special.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there—no matter how your day turned out, remember that you deserve to be celebrated. 💗 😂 ❤️
